Carpet Cleaning Mashpee MA
Traffic, children, pets and normal wear all affect carpet fibers which inevitably become soiled and dull in appearance. No matter how much you vacuum, eventually you will need to call a professional carpet cleaner to restore the original condition.
Regular, professional cleaning is as important to your carpet as having a trained mechanic perform routine tune-ups on your car. While your carpet may appear clean on the surface, periodic cleaning can help your carpet retain its fresh, beautiful appearance. Major manufacturers recommend that carpets be professionally cleaned every 6 to 18 months depending upon use.
Clean carpets contribute to a healthier home. Regular carpet cleaning helps to ensure healthier indoor air quality by removing soil, fungi, dust mites and pollutants that can be irritants, especially to allergy or asthma sufferers.
At J. Brightwell Carpet Cleaning, we use a proven method of cleaning – truck mounted Hot Water Extraction cleaning. This method – as opposed to carpet shampooing – removes deep, embedded dirt and soil and leaves no residue that can accelerate the re-soiling process.
Our technicians have extensive classroom and hands-on training and are certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, & Restoration Certification (IICRC). An IICRC certification is endorsed by all carpet manufacturers and required by some of the leading manufacturers to maintain new carpet warranties.
The best thing you can do for your carpets is to have them regularly deep cleaned by a qualified professional. Protect your investment and clean regularly.

Our carpet cleaning process:
Please note, some steps may not be included in the cleaning package you select
Step 1: Pre-Inspection
Our technician will walk through your home with you to visually inspect the carpet. They will identify potential issues and give you an evaluation of expected results.
Step 2: Vacuum
Your carpet is pre-vacuumed to remove the dry loose particulate. This is a very important step to insure total soil removal.
Step 3: Furniture Moving
Our regular pricing includes moving sofas, chairs, tables and smaller items. Beds, large dressers, and heavier pieces are left in place under our regular pricing structure. Heavier pieces can be moved at an additional cost if identified ahead of time.
Step 4: Apply Pre-Conditioning Agent
A pre-conditioning agent is applied to break down soil and general spots for more thorough cleaning.
Step 5: Spot & Stain Treatment
Difficult spots are pre-treated with special solutions to increase chances of removal. Some spots/stains – red colored drink spills, coffee spills, candle wax, nail polish are examples – may require advanced treatment solutions. The process and additional cost will be explained to you prior to undertaking any advanced treatment solutions.
Step 6: Agitation
Depending on the level of soiling, a professional carpet groomer or power scrubber is used to further loosen the soil.
Step 7: Soil Extraction and Rinse
The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed with a powerful extraction cleaning system without over wetting the carpet or leaving a sticky residue behind.
Step 8: Apply Carpet Protector (optional)
Carpet Protector assists carpet in repelling stains and dry soil. Unprotected carpet is more vulnerable to permanent staining and can re-soil more quickly. Not re-applying protector may void some manufacturer’s warranties.
Step 9: Speed Dry (optional)
High velocity air movers are placed on the carpet immediately after cleaning to promote faster drying.
Step 10: Post Cleaning Inspection
Our technicians will walk through your home with you to point out the cleaning results to make sure that you are completely satisfied with our work.
